Dear Colleagues:

It is a pleasure to welcome you to the AAOM 2022 Annual Session in Memphis. After more than two years, we are excited to attend this extraordinary educational session and look forward to rekindling old friendships and forging new ones. The program contains informative sessions and discussions of controversial topics in our specialty and a terrific opportunity to network and meet. Do not miss the opening ceremony, where we will hear an important message from ADA President Dr. Cesar Sabates and a fantastic Sol Silverman Memorial Lecture by Dr. Donald Abrams on Integrative Oncology. We will also have time that evening to celebrate our specialty recognition during the following reception. The program offers opportunities to envision our ideal future as a young specialty and share cutting-edge research and innovative ideas. We welcome our partnership with the World Workshop on Oral Medicine and look forward to their presentation of preliminary findings. Please do not miss the General Assembly on May 6. The Executive Committee will provide current Academy reports and defined next steps in our Strategic Plan, as voted by our Board of Trustees. The Executive Committee will also host an event to meet with any members to discuss the roadmap of Oral Medicine into the next decade.
